Identifying assets hidden abroad will become easier: NACP joins Europol's SIENA network platform

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has gained access to Europol's SIENA platform. This opens up new opportunities for information exchange with law enforcement agencies of EU member states, as well as increases the effectiveness of preventing and combating corruption.

The platform allows for a secure channel for the rapid exchange of data between the NACP and European partners, which will significantly improve the quality of international investigations and the identification of assets hidden abroad.

In addition, access to international databases and tools of the SIENA platform will allow the NACP to quickly track financial flows and identify suspicious assets. This will facilitate the disclosure of complex corruption schemes both inside and outside the country.
